Quinn Quest Talent is recruiting on behalf of an established and growing print business for a Production Manager to take ownership of its Digital Print and Automated Finishing operation.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for people, performance, quality and continuous improvement, working across digital print, UV varnishing, lamination and automated finishing.
The Production Manager Role
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading and developing a team of production operators.
- Managing daily production, capacity and workflow.
- Driving OTIF, productivity, quality and cost performance.
- Optimising digital print and automated finishing processes.
- Reducing waste and downtime through continuous improvement.
- Developing a flexible, multi-skilled production team.
- Maintaining high standards of 5S, safety and quality.
- Using production data to identify opportunities and improve performance.
We're Looking For
Production Manager will ideally have:
- Strong experience in digital print production.
- Proven production/team leadership experience.
- Experience managing shifts, workflow and capacity.
- Knowledge of automated finishing and modern print technology.
- Understanding of Lean, quality and waste reduction.
- Experience with production systems such as Site Flow, ERP or MRP.
- Experience with UV varnishing, lamination or automated finishing would be highly advantageous.
Above all, we're looking for a hands-on, commercially aware leader who can motivate people, make decisions under pressure and continually find better ways of working.
